Toshiba 7.68TB SAS-12GBPS Multi-level Cell (MLC) SSD. The KPM5XRUG7T68 is a 7.68 terabyte (TB) solid-state drive (SSD) produced by Toshiba. It is designed for use as an internal storage device in enterprise-level server and storage systems, and utilizes the Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface to connect to the host system. This SAS SSD uses a 12 Gbps data transfer rate, which is double the speed of the previous 6 Gbps SAS interface and it allows for faster data transfer speeds and lower latency. They also usually have advanced features such as power-loss protection and encryption.
